40/365: No School on the Count of Rain

Today was a long day! They closed the schools again due to
"bad weather", it didn't do anything but rain all day. We decided
to run a few errands and visit daddy (and everyone else) at the
shop, since we knew they would not be working to hard. Although
it just rained it was horribly cold. After coming home, Kaylynn
colored and played with Connor. There were no naps today so around
3pm everyone was fussy, even mommy. But, once daddy got here Kaylynn
calmed down. Her and her daddy piled with the laptops and played.
Egypt continues to haunt my thoughts, the protesters are still in
Tahrir Square. The good news is it is being reported that some of
the younger protesters are trying to organize it better to help cut
the violence down. Many have said this is a youth protest, meaning a
majority of the protesters are young Egyptians flexing their muscles.
So far there are no reports coming out of Egypt on the status of any
monuments, museums, tombs or excavating teams. January though early may is the height
of the excavating season and the protesting I am sure is going
to set most teams back at least a year and depending on the way the
government turns out it may set excavating teams back years.
As always my heart is with Kent Weeks, Dr. Hawass and all our
Egyptian excavating teams.
Goodnight all, See ya'll tomorrow
