59/365: Email from Egypt

Today went by real fast! The best part of
my day was when I received and email from Dr. Weeks team,
to let me know that not only was Dr. Weeks fine, but the whole
team was safe and sound. The email also stated that the team
is busy making plans for next years season. I was happy to hear
that work will be continuing on KV5 and that the Cairo office
is now open again. It was also wonderful to hear that everyone
is on the team is excited about the upcoming work. Please take a
look at the wonderful work this great team is doing on their website
www.thebanmappingproject.com
Kaylynn spent most of the day playing in her playroom and Connor
(I am sad to say) spent most of the day in his swing sleeping.
This wonderful setup allowed mommy to clean the kitchen and
straighten up stuff around the house. I finally finished the Mardi
Gras shirts and spoke to several friends about coming this Sunday
to our little Mardi Gras parade, which I am excited to attend.
At the usual time I feed the children and put them down to bed.
Daddy was not home yet, so I cooked dinner(yes, I can cook) and
listened to my book until he arrived. After dinner, we set down for a
"Mentalist" Marathon, thank god for DVR's.
Goodnight all; See ya'll tomorrow

58/365: Cuddle Days

Today was another great day. The children got up early around
7:30, so Ashley and I got up to feed and take care of the kids
and let Eric sleep late. I was surprise when Ashley told me to
go back to bed, that she had the children. It was so nice to
go back to bed and cuddle with my hubby for a little while. After
waking I needed to finish laundry and it was time to get behind
my embroidery machine to finish the children's Mardi Gras shirts.
I took several breaks to also spend time with my family; like
eat ice cream and to play with all three kids and the hubby in
the front yard. Soon after coming in to feed the kids, Ashley's
dad picked her up to take her home. We put the kids down to bed
and then we just relaxed and watched TV.
Goodnight all; See ya'll tomorrow

57/365: Busy Saturday

Today was busy, busy around here; Saturdays always are with errands,
cleaning, laundry and other things on my "must do" list. Since I have
gotten alittle bit older, I have had to started taking it upon myself
to make weekly "must do" list. I try my best to sit down every Sunday
and remind myself what I want to get accomplished that week. For all
you mothers out there understand this, its like I have so much on my
mind I "lose" things. I have to remember my children's stuff, Eric's
stuff and mine; it so gets to be to much some things, but I have my
little ways not to lose thoughts. We had to run a few errands and
do some shopping for the house. Going to Sam's, Walmart and Lowes;
Mommy also had to pick up some things at Hobby Lobby. Then it was back
home to start on Mommy's list(including working in the yard), which is
nice cause mommy can listen to my book has I crossed things off. Ashley
and the children played until it was dinner time and then off to bed for
Kaylynn and Connor;Daddy and Ashley to cook dinner and mommy still had
some work to finish. After dinner it was Phase 10 time rematch time for
me and Ashley until bed. Sunday is going to be a very laid back and easy
day.
Goodnight all; See ya'll tomorrow

56/365: Date Night

Today was a great day, Kaylynn had MDO like every friday and Connor and
I had our little "us time". He is sitting up and reaching for toys and
is always so happy. Tonight was "Date Night" for Eric and I, our first
one of the year (not counting our anniversary last month). we had a
great time at TGIF's and a nice dinner, it was so nice not to have
any children with us. Kaylynn and Connor were tucked into bed before
we left with my neice Ashley standing guard. She is here for the weekend
again, which we love. She is great with the children, heck she is
practicaly our third child herself. We dont treat her any different then
our own children. After returning home, we all decided to hit the hay
early, but I am sure Ashley stayed up reading and I also was up listening
to my book. Tomorrow is "errand" day around here and I still have a list
to wittle down.
Goodnight all; See ya'll tomorrow

55/365: Mommy's Sick Day

Today was a rough day for mommy. I awoke this morning
not feeling well, like a little bug. Never less Connor and
I took Kaylynn to MDO and came home to clean and rest. As soon
as we got back I started my lite Thursday cleaning and even
managed to get most of it done, of course I had to start and
stop several times when I felt sick. After the cleaning spells
I cuddled and played with my lil' man. I do have to admit sometime
in the afternoon, I text Eric and asked him to take off early.
He came home around 4:30 to help me with the children.
After feeding the children, he put us all to bed (me included).

54/365: Blessed

Today was an important day at the Vance Villa, it is Daddy's birthday! So
after we got up and ready we sent Daddy our little birthday wishes, then
Connor and I took Kaylynn to MDO, then came home and cuddled on the couch.
It is still strange to me to know that I am a mother of two, you
can not believe that I have been so blessed. I know for many of
you understand exactly where I am coming from. It hurts to think
that you may never have a child and then God finds a way to put
one in your life and your so thankful and blessed that you have
just one child that you could never imagine another one coming
along. Out of no where here comes another blessing, another
great gift. Ten years ago, I never would have thought I would
have two wonderful children, a great husband and a beautiful home;
I am truly blessed!!!
Goodnight all; See ya'll tomorrow

53/365: Picture/Dress-up Day

Today was picture day with Ms. Jill. We had a great time dressing
the kids up in all kinds of outfits. Kaylynn wasn't that into it,
but Connor seemed to love it. I know Connor really liked Braxton
being here; laughing at him and playing. Jill took some real
amazing pictures and did some great editing. There was one set
of pictures of Kaylynn in Eric's moms furs wearing my
engagement ring; it brought tears to my eyes. The photo shoot
was fun and we plan on doing it again. After Jill and B left
we all decided to take a long nap. Then, Kaylynn felt that
we (along with the dogs) needed some fresh air, so we went
in the yard to play until Daddy. We had a really long day
and when it was time to go to bed the children didn't fight
it at all. Looking forward to a good day tomorrow!
Goodnight all; See ya'll tomorrow

52/365: Kite Day

Had a great day today! Got up with all three kids, we ate breakfast and
played. Late we had to run to walmart to pick up a few things. Then we
were off to the park, Ashley picked up a "Toy story" kite and decided she
was going to teach Kaylynn how to fly it. I had a wonderful time sitting there
watching the two of them try to keep it in the air and out of the trees.
Ashley is an excellent teacher and Kaylynn had a great time with the kite. After
the kite flying Kaylynn decided it was time to take Ashley to the slide and
swing. I know must of you are wondering where Conner was the whole time, well,
he was sleeping in the stroller. After pulling Ashley all over the park, Ashley
decided it was time for Connor's first swing, he did just fine. After the park,
we picked up lunch and headed home to eat and put the kids down for a nap. While
the babies napped Ashley and I watched "Pretty Little Liars" and had a Phase 10
rematch. After the kids got up, we had to take Ashley home to soccer practice
then it was back home for dinner, bed(for the kids), and relaxing(for mommy).
Goodnight all; See ya'll tomorrow

51/365: Crazy Cleaning Mommy

Today was a busy day for mommy. I was super busy cleaning, doing
laundry, and waxing hardwood floors. Eric was on call this weekend,
but I did have Ashley here to help wrangle Kaylynn and let Connor play
with her ipod.We got early this morning and then I started cleaning and didn't
stop all day. While Eric was between calls he helped out allot; dusting
and fixing things around the house. Eric and Ashley made BBQ Meatloaf for
dinner with mashed potatoes and it was great. After dinner I did some lite sewing
and played a great game of Phase 10 with Ashley. Even though Eric and I cleaned
all day, we did get alittle family time with all the kids. All in all it was
a good day.
Goodnight all; See ya'll tomorrow

50/365: Minden Mardi Gras

Today is an exciting day for us. It started slow and relaxing with some
small errands to run with daddy and some family time. Today was
the Minden Mardi Gras parade, so we decided to meet up again with Jill and B
to go. This is Connor's first Mardi Gras season and every first parade. Mommy
made some sandwiches and packed some drinks and headed out to have an amazing
time. Kaylynn was scared at first but she started to loosen up and have a great
time waving and catching beads. Connor really just liked the pretty lights on
the fire trucks and the music from the floats. Jill and I had a blast helping
the kids have a great time. After the parade Kaylynn wanted to go see Uncle
Danny(who was on one of the floats) and then it was off to pickup Ashley for
a sleep over. On the way home we picked up Canes for dinner and did nothing
but watched TV and relaxed until it was bed time. Busy cleaning day tomorrow!
Goodnight all; See ya'll tomorrow

49/365: Fab Friday

Today was a wonderful day! Connor and I droppped Kaylynn off at
school and headed out to do some shopping. I had a few errands and
calls to get out of the way before meeting up with Jill and B. After
that we met Jill and B at River City Antique Mall to look for props
for her photo business. I was also looking for Mickey Mouse
collectibles for Connor's bathroom. We found some great stuff and
then decide to do lunch at Mickey D's. We also did some lite shopping
at the Mission Thrift Store and then the new Goodwill on Bert Kouns.
I found me some nice spring skirts and had tons of fun and great talks.
Connor and I left Jill and B to go get Kaylynn to go home and take alittle
nap before daddy got home. After daddy made it home it was walamrt time and
grocery shopping (The one thing I hate about fridays). After walmart it was
time for Connor and Kaylynn to go to bed and time for Mommy and Daddy to
relax and watch TV.
Goodnight all; See ya'll tomorrow

48/365: Finally Nice Weather

To today was alittle busy, had some stuff to do around the house I still
needed to finish. Lucky, I made a list last night to keep my focused on
the tasks at hand. Kaylynn had school today so it was me and the little
one. I know this is something I say a million times, but after finishing
some stuff Connor and I cuddled and watched TV. After picking up Kaylynn
we all decided to go outside to play, it was a beautiful day and there is
a nice little breeze. I love watching Kaylynn run around the yard playing
and I can't wait until I can sit on the front porch and watch both my children
running around playing with each other. Connor and I are going to have a
fun day tomorrow with Ms. Jill and B shopping for props for Ms. Jill's
photography business.
Goodnight all; See ya'll tomorrow

47/365: Shopping Habits

We had a good day today, more errands for daddy. Dropped
Kaylynn off at her mommy's day out and hit the road. We
had a few more errands to run that we couldnt do on Saturday.
Connor and I took the old trucks plates back, went to the bank
and picked up some things at the dollar store. Then we decided
to come home for lunch and take a nap before going to get Kaylynn.
After picking her up, we all decided to go shopping in Ms. Ashley's
shop. It was quite interesting (you have to picture this) Kaylynn
walked in grabbed a child size shopping cart and went right to
her clothes size and started shopping. After looking at a few items
she picked out a skirt, held it up to herself and looked so adult.
She was so cute, even picking out somethings for Connor. When I told
Eric about it, he said I take her shopping way to much and well I
maybe starting to agree with him. After shopping around for alittle
while, a lady brought in a pink Kaylynn size vanity and well she fell
in love with it and I having been begging daddy to get it for her.
I also picked up some baby toys for Connor to play with on the floor
and some toys that hang on his car seat. I love Ashley's store,
I would go everyday if Eric would let me. Over all it was a fun day
with the children.
Goodnight all; See ya'll tomorrow

46/365: Loving Bug

Today was a around the house day. Kaylynn and I played, cleaning
and finishing up some small task. We also cheered Connor has he
tried to roll over, but didn't! Kaylynn also helped me make a
veggie salad that Ms. Tina gave my the recipes for and it was
wonderful. She also helped me load the dishwasher and washing
machine, she is so independent. After all that helping mommy, she
decided it was time to love on Connor(which to anyone who knows is
a big deal), she loved on him for a good hour and even made him
laugh a few times.  After loving on her brother, she then decided it was time
to let the dogs out in the front yard and play with them alittle, she was every
loving today. Unfortunately for the kids it was a long night for
daddy and they were in the bed before he came home. Fortunately for mommy
I got alittle mommy time before h came home. I got to finish book 10 and
started book 11, I am always excited to start a new book. I cant wait to
see what kind of trouble the Emerson's get into this season excavating in
Egypt. I am also excited about a new 31 purse I ordered with changeable
skirts, what can I say folks I am easily excited.
Goodnight all; See ya'll tomorrow

45/365: Wonderful Monday

Today was wonderful as Mondays always are. We were
lazy most of the day, not doing much but laying around
watching TV, playing and coloring. Kaylynn spent allot of
the day playing alone in her playroom. I say she was alone,
but she would not. I check on her allot during the day and she is
always having tea with hippo or cooking for bear or even putting
a puzzle together with Manny. She has quite the imagination and
loves all her toys and talks to them and even tells them about
mommy, daddy and Connor. While she plays, Connor and I spend
time together (mostly I spend time making him laugh) watching TV
or just loving on him. He is such a happy baby even at 4am in the
morning which gets on my nerves alittle, no one should be that
happy that early, but he is. Connor has been mainly a quiet baby until
a few days ago and now he "talks" all the time, if he is awake he
is talking. He is developing his little personality happy, laid back,
easy going (like is daddy), I guess I am doomed to be the only one
in the house that stresses. The day went on and we played and let
the house cleaning fade away, but at 5pm Kaylynn headed back to her
playroom to clean up and I have to admit I told her not to worry with
it and to go love on Connor and she did while I cooked her dinner and got
Connors baby food and bottle ready. After dinner it was bedtime for my
little ones and cleaning time for mommy. I always feel bad if Eric has
to come home to a dirty house, so I straighten and cleaned as I listened
to Book 10 of my Amelia Peabody Series, which I hope to finish tomorrow and
start Book 11, there are 19 so I have quite allot to go. I love my little
mommy time cleaning and listening to my book (its sad I know, but it makes
me happy).
Goodnight all; See ya'll tomorrow

44/365: Super Sunday

Today was a great Sunday. The kids played, daddy watched
TV and mommy sewed. I was a busy little bee around the
house today doing laundry (which I hate), cleaning and
straightening the house (which I do all the time) and
sewing (which I love, if my 2 year old is not tripping
over my cords). I worked on stuff for Connor's bathroom,
taking down the "girlie" flowers that were in there for
Emily and Ashley and packing them away for when their
new bathroom is built. Putting in all the Mickey the
Mouse (that's how Kaylynn says it) stuff, printing out
pictures and putting them in frames. I picked up some
cheap towels at walmart and fabric from hobby lobby and
added to the bottom of each one to make them match and
even made new curtains, I like it turned out nice and
just right for my little man (at least for a little while).
Glad tomorrow is Monday, I know that is weird. Monday is
our (mine and the kids) lazy day, since we stay so busy
during the weekend. I always look forward to our little
breakfast time together Kaylynn with her honey bun (I know
its not healthy, but she eats it and I am picking my battles);
Connor with his baby food fruit and me with my coke and
whatever part of the honey bun Kaylynn wants to share, who
wouldn't look forward to that every Monday.
Goodnight all; See ya'll tomorrow

43/365: Good Productive Day

Today was a busy day for the Vance family! We woke up early
to tons of errands to run. We left the house at 10am and didn't
return until almost 4pm. Running to collect rent, taking stuff
back to best buy, hobby lobby for ribbon and that was all before
lunch. Daddy did take us to lunch at Cheddars, it was okay, service
was really slow, but food was okay. After lunch more errands for me
and hair cut for daddy. Both the kids were great all day, which is
a wonderful surprise. We also went to target to get stuff to redo
Connors bathroom, I am doing it in Mickey Mouse. I finally decided
between mickey mouse, monkeys and toy story. I got most of the
bathroom stuff at target, but I printed out the pictures from the
Internet and handmade some out of scrap booking stuff. Now I have
to sew the curtains and towels going to add fabric to the bottom.
We were very productive today and got tons finished. I am quite
proud of my little family for having a productive, busy and wonderful day.
Goodnight all, See ya'll tomorrow

42/365: Rough One!

Today started out pretty rough! I started feeling sick late
last night and was really worried I was getting the dreaded
stomach bug. I was still feeling rough this morning, but got
it together just long enough to take Kaylynn to Mommy's Day Out.
After getting home, I have to be honest Connor and I slept all
day. So as you guessed I am feeling allot better. After picking
up Kaylynn, we played until daddy got home. We did get some
exciting news the house next door finally sold, to a wonderful
couple who want to restore it and rent it out to be a Christan
community center for our neighborhood. While we have tons of good
news Egypt got a huge dose of bad news. Pres. Mubarak turned over
control of Egypt to the military and left Cairo. I know a lot of
you want to know what this means for Egypt. Well it all depends
on the "elections", Egypt is one of Americas biggest allies and
helps with Israeli's security. Will the new "elections" could mean
Egyptian freedom or a new and dangerous Muslim power; will it
be save for other countries to visit this wonderful and historic
country or will it be dangerous more then ever, We don't know!
My hopes for my Egypt is that they get the freedom they want
without endangering foreigners and surrounding countries. I would
love to see Egypt grow and be better but not at the risk of destroying
their and our past. May your hearts and heads lead you in the right
direction.
Goodnight all; See ya'll tomorrow

41/365: 4 Month Check Up

It was a good day here, the kids got up a little to
early for me. Even though I really didn't want to be up
at 7am, I was productive. Feed the kids, started laundry,
did the dishes and got everyone ready to go out and about,
all before 8am. I knew last night it was going to be a long
day. Connor and I started off by dropping Kaylynn off at mommy's
day out, then headed to take him to his 4 month check up and shots.
Everything went great he is 15lbs and 26 inches long and is healthy
as a horse. After the doctors visit Connor and I went to lunch with
Ms. Jill and B to check up, Jill held Connor the whole time (no surprise
there). By the time lunch was over it was time to pick up Kaylynn. Overall
it turned out to be a great day in the Vance world, but I am sorry to
say it was not a good day in Egypt. The protesting took a turn for the
worst when Pres. Mubarak decided not to step down but transfer power
to his Vice Pres. I understand that the Egyptian people want freedom,
but demanding the leaders to step down with no back up play or another
leader in place is dangerous. My worst fear for Egypt is that somehow
the Muslim Brotherhood group will take over and raise to power and that
fact should scare everyone. Egypt is always in my heart!
Goodnight all; See ya'll tomorrow!

40/365: No School on the Count of Rain

Today was a long day! They closed the schools again due to
"bad weather", it didn't do anything but rain all day. We decided
to run a few errands and visit daddy (and everyone else) at the
shop, since we knew they would not be working to hard. Although
it just rained it was horribly cold. After coming home, Kaylynn
colored and played with Connor. There were no naps today so around
3pm everyone was fussy, even mommy. But, once daddy got here Kaylynn
calmed down. Her and her daddy piled with the laptops and played.
Egypt continues to haunt my thoughts, the protesters are still in
Tahrir Square. The good news is it is being reported that some of
the younger protesters are trying to organize it better to help cut
the violence down. Many have said this is a youth protest, meaning a
majority of the protesters are young Egyptians flexing their muscles.
So far there are no reports coming out of Egypt on the status of any
monuments, museums, tombs or excavating teams. January though early may is the height
of the excavating season and the protesting I am sure is going
to set most teams back at least a year and depending on the way the
government turns out it may set excavating teams back years.
As always my heart is with Kent Weeks, Dr. Hawass and all our
Egyptian excavating teams.
Goodnight all, See ya'll tomorrow

39/365: My Day

Today was suppose to be a fun day; but Kaylynn awoke
with a fever, so we are home bound today. Today is
also my 34 birthday, but just another day in my book.
I have had a wonderful time watching everyone send we
birthday wishes on my facebook page, I am truly blessed
to have such great friends. We didn't do much today; played
in the playroom, colored, and loved on Connor. After nap we
decided to get on our laptops (Kaylynn on hers "play" one and
I on the real one), when there was a knock at the door. What
a great surprise when I opened the door and beautiful vase
of flowers and balloons. My best friend, Tracie always does
birthdays right. I did a little housework before helping Kaylynn
pick up her playroom (which is something we do every night). After
feeding the children and putting them to bed and Eric still
not home, I am enjoying another night of "mommy time", listening
to my book and updating my blog and getting this months calendars
in order.
Goodnight all; See ya'll tomorrow

38/365: Playdate Monday

Busy day today, but always are. We had a few errands to run and a
play-date at a wonderful friends home. The play-date was so much fun, it
was also a 31 gifts party and everyone knows how I love to shop! I think
this is the one thing that Eric hates about me, but you can't take it with
you. Anyway, I bought me a new purse and Kaylynn an organizer for the car,
something she can put her notepad and crayons in on long drives, since here
lately she has taken up coloring at least once a day. Tina(our host), was a
wonderful hostess(as always) and we were thankful to her for such a wonderful
time and food. After leaving, we stopped by a friends children's consignment
store to drop off some of Kaylynn's old clothes, I do this to support my
gymboree clothing addiction. Soon after leaving the shop, I need to drop off
a dinner I cooked for another friend, who's house burned a few days ago. It was
a nice night as well, Eric can home only long enough to help me put the children
down to bed, then he went off on a call. I love this nights; I cooked dinner and
listened to my book, I had about an hour of "mommy time" before Eric returned. We
watched TV and tried to decide on what weekend this month we were going to do our
"date night". We decided on February 25th and I made a note to call our sitter
company that we use. Tomorrow will be a fun day.

37/365: Our Sunday

Today is like every other Sunday! Eric got up with the children
and fixed them waffles, I am sure Ashley had allot to do with that.
She loves Uncle Eric's waffles and mostly he taught her how to make
them. They are two peas in a pod when they get in the kitchen together,
Eric jokes that he is the head chef and Ashley is his Sous Chef. Ashley
loves to cook and to learn, so Eric combines the two. After I woke up
there was very little housework to be done, finished most of it on Friday
while Ashley was watching the children. We really didn't do a whole lot today,
sat around watched TV and talked about everything from the crisis in Egypt to
the Mayan Calendar. We always have wonderful and interesting talks when Ashley
is here, she ask the best questions for us to answer. Today is also Super Bowl
Sunday, so I am sure we will be in front of the game as soon as it starts, we only
watch it for the commericals anyway. Speaking of Egypt the protesting continues,
this day 13. It has reached a leveling point, but still
very active protesting in Tahrir Square with many young organizers leading the
demonstrations. Continue to hope for Dr. Hawass's safety.
Goodnight all; See ya'll tomorrow

36/365: Family Day

Another day of waking up to snow, but melting fast. Eric
took the kids this morning and let me sleep in this morning.
Eric was busy all day being very productive, fixing things
around the house. After Eric came back from the hardware
store Ashley and I attending a re-opening of a friends consignment
shop. I really lucked out shopping there, I found Easter and
Valentine outfits for both the children. Had a great time shopping
with the kids and then headed home. Spent the rest of the day
watching TV and spending time with my family. In Egypt:
protesters are still camped out in Cairo's Tahrir Square
vowing to continue their battle to oust Mubarak. President
Hosni Mubarak's government aimed to get people back to work
on Sunday with banks and businesses reopening, in the first
clear test of how far his opponents can keep up the momentum
of protests to force him out. My heart is still praying for
the safety of Dr. Hawass and all the museums.
Goodnight all; See ya'll tomrrow

35/365: Winter Wonderland

We woke up this morning to a beautiful white winter wonderland. There
is snow everywhere, it's great. I had a ton of housework to start and
finish. I am afraid I had fallen way behind in all of it the last few
days, playing with the kids. On a more positive note Ashley was here
to keep Kaylynn occupied. They played in the snow for hours at a time,
Kaylynn really enjoyed the snow this time, which was a great thing. I
didn't take Connor out in it this, He has been coughing the last few
days and I didn't want to risk it. They went sledding, made snow angels(well
Ashley made one and then Kaylynn wanted all over it) and Ashley taught
her how to make snow balls (and then Kaylynn throw one at her). On a very
sad note we have learned that reporters are being killed in the protesting
in Cairo. Going into another day of protesting it is getting more
dangerous of everyone involved and thousands continue to evacuate the country!
Goodnight all; See ya'll tomorrow

34/365: Waiting for Snow

Today has been a busy day in our home! Our eyes have been watching
both the TV and the window today looking and hoping for snow. We have
also been waiting to see if the schools are going to be closed. Now that
we know they are, we are going to pick up my niece, Ashley, so Kaylynn is
so excited. We haven't seen Ashley in weeks so we are all excited to see her.
This weekend should be really fun. Unfortunate Egypt is still in chaos today with
more and more protesters and government supporters flock to Cairo's main square.
As the death toll raises, there is no end of insight of this crisis.
Goodnight all; See ya'll tomorrow

33/365: Hell on Earth

Today was not a good day at all in the Vance world or in Egypt.
After President Mubarak's speech, well to be quite honest, All
Hell broke lose. At the one of the fighting's front lines, next to the
famed Egyptian Museum at the edge of Tahrir Square, pro-government
rioters blanketed the rooftops of nearby buildings and dumped bricks and
firebombs onto the crowd below — in the process setting a tree ablaze
inside the museum grounds. Which to be honest is way to close for me
not to worry about the artifacts inside. On another note more and more
protesters are flocking to Cairo and the death toll is raising. Our
President did not help the situation any after releasing a statement saying
President Mubarak should step down to stop the crisis. So not only did he just destroy
30 years of Egyptian/US friendship, but is now a total hypocrite. Because has you
all know if thousands of protesters marched on the White House, he would not
step down either. On the home front it was a very long day, since Kaylynn
did not get to go to school, I wanted her home in case the weather turned.
She was into everything and try Mommy's nerves, which is easy to do these
days. Connor was cranky most of the day and we were all glad to see daddy
walk though the door at 6pm.
Goodnight all; See y'all tomorrow

32/365: Pretty Good for Now

Today was a pretty fair day in our little world or so we thought.
As everyone knows we are actively watching events in Egypt this week
and hoping for the safety for all our American discovery teams. I still
have not heard any word on Dr. Weeks and his KV5 team. However, Dr. Hawass
has made a announcement that all museums, tombs and magazines are safe and
being watched over by the Egyptian military. As far as The Vance's side of the world
we, along with everyone else is preparing for the winter blasted headed our way.
Apparently not fast enough, we did have a hot water line crack, which left us with
no hot water upstairs. Hoping Eric can fix it tomorrow.
Goodnight all; See ya'll tomorrow
